lordofthecats: (Lion-o -- Don't Mess With Me)

Room 310, Monday evening [9/1]

Lion-o was used to having a fluffy snarf tagging along at his heels, so at first he didn't really notice the fluffy circular creature at his feet. Besides, he was trying to find an easy way to tell Snarf that he'd gotten a job in town after going to the picnic on Saturday.

He did notice when the creature tried to bit his ankle. Snarf came to the rescue and whacked the circle with his powerful tail, but that only left them with two even more vicious circular critters. When they clamped onto Snarf's tail, Lion-o grabbed a heavy book and started beating them to dislodge them, but they just seemed to keep coming out of nowhere.

Toby returned to the room after getting some excellent 'studying' done in Kevin's new room and couldn't believe his eyes. "Oh my god, did Snarf have a hairball?"

"Not exactly," said Lion-o, taking another whack at one of the creatures that latched onto his ankle. "Unless hairballs bite. Ouch!"

"Dude, that is not cool!" Toby said, jumping onto his bed to keep away from the attacking hairballs.

"What are we going to do?" asked Lion-o, kicking at one of the critters. "It started with just one, and now they're everywhere!"

"Dude, you're the one with like, sharp teeth!" Toby said, watching as one of the furballs bounced up to snap at him.

"I'm not going to bite them!" protested Lion-o. "Who knows where they've been?"

[identity profile] always-damp.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
"Then how are you going to scare them away?"

[identity profile] lordofthecats.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
"I have no idea!" cried Lion-o. "I've never dealt with these things before."

"Dude, we could trap them in the closet!" Toby cried, brain providing an idea out of the blue.

[identity profile] lordofthecats.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
"Good idea!" said Lion-o. "Which closet should we trap them in?"

[identity profile] always-damp.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
"Totally yours," Toby answered quickly. "It's closer." Even though it wasn't.

"Um, okay," said Lion-o, looking a little concerned. "But how would I get my clothes if they're trapped in my closet and I can't let them out?"

[identity profile] always-damp.livejournal.com 2008-09-02 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
"I'll get you new clothes," Toby promised. "And we'll share my closet." Or something. It wasn't like Toby had a lot of clothes.

"Okay," said Lion-o after thinking about it for a moment. It really seemed like a good deal since he didn't have a lot of clothes either.

"Come on, Snarf! Start herding them towards the closet."
