Room 310, late Saturday morning
Sep. 24th, 2011 01:59 pmLion-o had been having a strange dream where he and Tygra were step-brothers that hated each other. It was almost a relief when he woke up. Then he realized that what woke him was the shrieking coming from all over the dorms.
For a moment, he wondered if he should go check out what was going on. Then he remember the last time he tried to help someone and how that turned out. It wasn't the most heroic thing, but he just rolled over and went back to sleep. Anyone needing his help would have to wait.

Anyone passing by the lockers this early in the morning may have been surprised to hear the faint sound of drum and fife music. The music grew louder before the door to Locker 327 popped open. Lion-o stepped out of the locker, wearing an old-fashioned coat and tricorne hat while carrying a knapsack. "Thanks for helping me find my way back! Good luck with your revolution," he shouted into the locker, tipping his hat.
[Whoops, thought I had posted this earlier in the day. Open!]

Lion-o was in a good mood today after helping rescue the new girl last night. He felt so good that he was able to ignore the eerie feeling he had being in the empty building so early in the day.
He probably should have been more alert, though, because he totally forgot about Locker 327 until he was right on top of it. The door suddenly popped open, catching him off guard, and Lion-o found himself falling into the locker.
When the locker door shut behind him, there was no sign that he had ever been in the hallway.
[NFI, since I won't be able to answer pings! And now I flee to finish packing.]

Room 310, Sunday night
Apr. 25th, 2010 08:20 pmIt was a shame Snarf was still on his trip to the new Thunderan home world. Without anyone to supervise him, weetiny Lion-o was practicing his writing. He'd managed to write his name on all four walls of his room, stopping only when he ran out of surface area that he could reach.
But that was okay, because now he had more time to work on the blanket fort he was constructing between the two beds.
[Door and post are open!]

Room 310, Sunday evening
Dec. 6th, 2009 07:02 pmThere was a reason no one had seen Lion-o all weekend.
It was because his faithful squire, Snarf, wasn't so loyal and trustworthy after all. Snarf had tied Lion-o up and shoved him into the secret chamber hidden underneath his bed. He claimed he had done it for Lion-o's safety, but Lion-o didn't believe that.
But there was nothing he could do, not while he was tied up and locked in the hidden chamber. His only hope was that someone would come looking for him...

Room 310, Thursday morning
Aug. 27th, 2009 09:32 amLion-o was grateful that the portal dropped him off a few days early, because he still needed time to adjust to a few things, like his new height and the deeper voice.
"Ouch!" he groaned after banging his head on the frame of the closet door for the second time. "Gosh, Snarf, this whole place is so much smaller than I remember."
"Are you kidding, Lion-o? Compared to those suspension capsules, this place is a palace!" said Snarf, who was making the bed.
The door was open, if anyone passing by wanted to gawk at the red-headed lion boy who'd had a massive growth spurt over the summer.

Lion-o was fast asleep in his bed on the Thundercats flagship when Cheetara came to wake him. "Sorry, Lion-o, but Jaga needs to see you on the bridge right away."
Snarf was already protesting even as Lion-o climbed our of bed. "The boy needs his sleep, snarf snarf! He's had a very long day and not a lot of rest."
"Aw, c'mom Snarf. I'm practically grown-up!" Lion-o reminded him, but the Snarf rolled his eyes.
"I'm sorry, Snarf, but it's Jaga's orders," said Cheetara, staying safely out of the debate. "I hope it won't take too long."
( If he is to rule, he must learn to take the bad with the good. Warning: character death )
( Lion-o and Snarf raced down the corridor, turned a corner and headed into the sword chamber… )

He was in bed and should have been asleep, but Lion-o was wide awake, playing around with his cell phone (not dirty). Snarf, who was curled up at the foot of the bed, glared at him. "Just a moment," said Lion-o as Snarf opened his mouth to grumble once more. "I just need a few more minutes to book my portal back to Fandom."
"You should have done that earlier, but you still have plenty of time to do that, snarf snarf. We won't be going back to Fandom for a while, and little cubs need their sleep," Snarf whined.
"Aww, c'mon, Snarf! I just turned 15. I'm not going to be little forever," protested Lion-o. "And I've been trying to reach Portalocity since we first got home, but I've this is the first time it's worked. I've been having lots of trouble reaching them. Panthro said it could be interference from the geomagnetic instability, whatever that means."
( The beginning of the end )

Room 310, Thursday afternoon
May. 7th, 2009 06:40 pm"Hurry up, Snarf! We need to catch the portal," said Lion-o, shoving stuff in a duffel bag. He wasn't taking a lot with him since he was coming back in the fall, but at the last second, he decided he needed a few extra things.
"I still don't know if this is a good idea, Lion-o," said Snarf, taking the extra outfits out of Lion-o's duffel and folding them neatly. "Maybe you should have contacted Lord Claudus and told him that you were taking a portal. And maybe you should leave some clothes behind. You don't need all of this."
"But I want to surprise him! Think of how surprised he'll be, Snarf," said Lion-o. "I can't wait to see him and it's the whole summer. I'm going to need lots of clothes. We'd better hurry if we're going to catch that portal. Come on, Snarf!"
[Establishy but open if you want to catch Lion-o before he leaves for the summer!]

Feb. 22nd, 2009 11:23 am"I'm sorry, Lion-o, but I must insist that you not go on this trip," said Snarf, as Lion-o pouted. "I'm here to watch out for your safety and I don't like boats, snarf snarf."
"But Snarf, I'm already packed and everything! Please let me go on the trip. I've been looking forward to it," begged Lion-o.
"No, and that's my final answer, snarf snarf," said Snarf.
"Fine," said Lion-o. "Hey Snarf, maybe we should break out the emergency chocolate. I could really use some right about now."
Snarf perked up. "You have chocolate? Where?" he asked.
"It's in my closet. Go look for yourself," said Lion-o. He waited until Snarf scampered off into the closet and then Bam! Lion-o shut the doors, trapping Snarf inside. "I'm sorry, but you didn't leave me any other choice! I'll see you in a week when I get back from the cruise," he shouted, grabbing his bags. He ran to get to the causeway before Snarf could find a way out.

Room 310, Monday morning
Feb. 9th, 2009 12:38 amLion-o and Snarf were still huddled under the bed, where they had been hiding all weekend. "Do you think it's safe to go out there now?" asked Snarf, whose tummy was starting to growl. They'd finished the hidden stash of candy late last night.
"I don't know, Snarf. You heard last night's radio. The people on this island have gone crazy," said Lion-o, trying to stretch out his legs. He was getting a leg cramp again.
"Well, how will we know when it's safe, snarf snarf?" asked Snarf.
"One of us is just going to have to go out there," said Lion-o. He took a deep breath. "And I think that, as future lord of the Thundercats, it's my job to find out what's going on."
"No! You stay here, snarf snarf. I'm supposed to be taking care of you," said Snarf. He scampered out from under the bed, returning a minute later. "I think it's safe! Come on, Lion-o. Let's get some food."
"Oh, thank Jaga," said Lion-o with a sigh of relief. He wasn't going to admit it, but another day hiding under that bed would have driven him mad.
[Establishy, but open if you want to catch Lion-o after he's done hiding.]
